I have not yet finished my animation but am proud of what I have completed so far, the drawing on the next scene took ages.Just a fella

Today I drew out a background for my animation but I am having trouble as flash doesn’t have a very easy way to change opacity of the brushes, instead I had to draw an image, covert it into a symbol and select “alpha” to change it. This makes it very tedious as all I’m trying to do is make it look like the sun is shining on certain parts to give my background more depth.

Today we used Adobe Illustrator to make a text path. I find that, after getting used to Illustrator, that this program is superior when making text paths. I originally wanted to use the Deadpool logo but I couldn’t find any pictures that were legal. The main difference I found with Photoshop and Illustrator was the slight change in layout but mainly the different tools you can use. Photoshop is obviously based around the editing of photos whereas Illustrator seems more focused on making logo’s and other things like that.
This is the avatar I have made. I tried to use a lot more different tools in Photoshop that I hadn’t used before. I mainly used the contrast and brightness level tools and other tools like that. the easiest part of doing this was using the clone stamp and blur tool. I used the clone stamp to add more eyes and the blur tool to make it look more focused on my head then everything else. The hardest part (which wasn’t really that hard) was testing out all the sliders to change colour, brightness and contrast as well as others.
